rip joepa (part 2)

rip joepa (part 1)

i understand this is a somewhat controversial topic but i am asking
from the very bottom of my heart that anyone reading this acts with
the utmost respect.

as someone who grew up in pennslyvania (briefly in state college as a toddler)
and a current freshman at the pennslyvania state university, joepa was
always a respected and well loved figure. he still is despite the series
of unfortunate events that unfolded last year and after his death.

yesterday, january 22nd, marked the one year anniversary of joepa's death.
in his memory 409 (the number of wins joepa had in his career) candles were lit downtown.

rip joepa. we will never forget.

pat o'brien's

dinner with mom at pat o'brien's in downtown universal, orlando.
apparently it is an exact replica of the pat's in new orleans.
it was beautiful.

new orleans is my dream city. i've never been but there isn't anything i
wouldn't do to be there now... or at any moment of any day.

i'll get there eventually.

the flamingos of seaworld in orlando, fl

i don't have time this evening to post all of my pictures from my visit
to seaworld today but i wanted to share my pictures of my mom's
favorite animal: the flamingo! the darker pink flamingos are caribean flamingos and
the lighter ones are chilean.

mom had us rent one of those precious paddle boats and it was quite relaxing.

p.s. anyone else think of alice in wonderland and playing croquet when they
see flamingos?
